Pre-departure Preparation

Mandatory 5-Day Online Preparatory Bootcamp. Each day features a 1-hour live session

Day 01.

Online

Environment Setup & OS Readiness. Pre-configuring and troubleshooting students' laptops, including ARC software download and installation verification, Mac user virtualization setup (VMware / Parallels) or ChromeConnect, and verifying administrator privileges for driver installation.

Day 02.

Online

ARC UI Layout & Connection Logic. Comprehensive introduction to the EZ-Robot software GUI, main menus, and basic workspace management. Explain the connection logic of how the software communicates with and sends commands to the physical robot over local Wi-Fi networks.

Day 03.

Online

Mechanics, Hardware & Kinematics. Conceptual breakdown of vital hardware terminology (Joints, Links, Actuators, Sensors, Kinematics, and Degrees of Freedom/DoF). Visual walkthrough of the physical parts inside the EZ-Robot Developer Kit. Includes a 15 minute conceptual design sprint.

Day 04.

Online

Logic Base, Coding & Bridging Gaps. Core coding logic essentials (Python lists, loops, functions, external libraries). Dedicated briefing on PWM fundamentals and transitioning existing Arduino project experience into the ARC programming environment. Includes a 15-minute coding practice session for basic Python logic.

Day 05.

Online

AI in Robotics: Reinforcement Learning & Ethics. Conceptual overview of how Reinforcement Learning is used to train robot agents and a discussion on ethical considerations for AI and automation.

A Day in the Life of a Robotics Intern

08:00 - 09:00

Breakfast and Briefing

Students gather for breakfast. A YouVah facilitator shares the day's technical objectives, safety guidelines, and expected learning outcomes before heading to the robotics lab or company.

09:00 - 09:30

Morning Reflection

Students review the previous day's learning, document key technical concepts in their engineering journal, and discuss one challenge they solved or observed.

09:30 - 12:00

FIRST HALF :  Robotics Lab / Company Session

Hands-on technical session conducted by Tokyo Robotics Club mentors or industry engineers. 

OR

Guided visit to a robotics company, research laboratory, or innovation center. Students observe industrial robotics, automation systems, AI-powered manufacturing, and engineering workflows while interacting with professionals and documenting insights for their final project

12:00 - 13:00

Lunch Break

Lunch with fellow participants and mentors. Opportunity for informal networking and cultural exchange.

13:00 – 17:00

SECOND HALF : Project Development

Students work in teams to build and program robotics solutions using the concepts learned during the morning session. Mentors provide technical guidance, code reviews, debugging support, and project feedback.

17:00 – 17:30

Daily Demo & Stand-Up

Each team demonstrates their progress, discusses technical challenges encountered, shares lessons learned, and outlines goals for the next session.

17:30 – 19:00

Cultural Exploration | Excursions

Students explore Japan's vibrant culture and iconic attractions while bonding with their peers. Guided visits  to Shibuya Crossing, Akihabara (Electric City), Asakusa, Tokyo Skytree, local shopping streets, cafés, and other cultural hotspots, offering an immersive experience beyond the classroom.

19:00 – 20:30

Group Dinner

Dinner together followed by informal discussions about the day's technical learnings, Japanese work culture, and engineering practices.

20:30 onwards

Back to Hotel | Independent Learning & Journal

Students return to the hotel to unwind after a fulfilling day.

15 Days of Impact.

Day 01 - 05

5 DAYS ONLINE FOUNDATION
[WFH]

Start with five days of immersive online training, students will build foundational knowledge across various technical domain.

Day 06

Arrival in Tokyo

Arrive at Narita Airport, complete immigration, transfer to the hotel, check in, enjoy dinner, and rest after the journey.

Day 07

Orientation & Robotics Industry Exposure

Begin with the TIB orientation, FAB training, and workspace setup, followed by lunch with industry leaders and a welcome session on robotics in Japan. Visit the interactive robotics exhibits at TEPIA before exploring Harajuku and ending the day with dinner.

Day 08

Toyota Woven City & Engineering Challenge

Visit Toyota Woven City's robotics innovation center, participate in mentor interactions, and spend the afternoon collaborating on engineering challenges with daily progress reviews.

Day 09

Tokyo Disneyland Experience

Enjoy a full-day visit to Tokyo Disneyland with world-class attractions, entertainment, and immersive experiences before returning to the hotel.

Day 10

Explore Japan

Explore Miraikan and Tokyo Skytree, experience TeamLab Planets, visit Kawasaki Robotics Robostage, and conclude the day with shopping and dinner in Odaiba.

Day 11

Robotics Project Development

Continue the engineering challenge through collaborative project development, mentor sessions, technical guidance, and team stand-up meetings at Tokyo Innovation Base.

Day 12

Project Development & Mentoring

Now that you’ve worked hands-on across multiple domains it’s time to unwind and soak in the culture. Start with a Dubai city tour, followed by lunch and a visit to Dubai Mall. End the day with a Burj Khalifa photo session and a relaxing dinner.

Day 13

Presentation Workshop & Final Preparation

Attend presentation workshops, receive mentor feedback, rehearse project demonstrations, and celebrate the successful completion of the internship with the team.

Day 14

Final Showcase & Graduation

Finalize project preparations before presenting innovative robotics solutions at CIC Tokyo, followed by the closing ceremony, networking reception, and farewell dinner.

Day 15

RETURN TO INDIA

The program concludes with a return flight to Delhi, closing the chapter on a truly transformative internship journey.
